BERLIN – The Atlantic General Hospital Foundation’s 20th Annual Fall Golf Classic will take place on Thursday, Sept. 26 on the Newport Bay and Seaside courses of Ocean City Golf Club.
Last year’s event raised more than $90,000 for the foundation, which enables the not-for-profit hospital to advance the health of the residents and visitors by way of a coordinated care delivery system that provides access to quality care, personalized service and education to improve individual and community health.
Event organizers are still accepting sponsors and players to make this year’s tournament the most successful ever. Team foursomes are $1,000. Golfers will have a choice of two formats at the 1 p.m. tournament: Best Ball on Newport Bay and Scramble on Seaside.
The title sponsor for the AGH Fall Golf Classic will again be Carousel Oceanfront Hotel and Condominiums but other sponsorship opportunities are still available.
Gold sponsors are AGH Auxiliary, Emergency Service Associates, P.A., Macky’s Bayside Bar & Grill, and Sysco Eastern Maryland, LLC.
Silver sponsors are Atlantic/Smith, Cropper & Deeley, Delmarva Collections, Inc., and Park Place Jewelers.  Bronze Sponsors are Five Star Physician Services, LLC and Peninsula Imaging, LLC.
Chick-Fil-A-West OC will provide lunch, and Boardwalk Famous Dayton’s Fried Chicken will provide dinner at the post-tournament banquet. Williams, Moore, Shockley, Harrison, LLP, is the reception sponsor.
Coca-Cola Bottling Co. is sponsoring the hospitality cart on the Seaside course, and Shenanigan’s Irish Pub and Grille is sponsoring the hospitality cart for the Newport Bay course. Dough Roller Restaurants will be the Newport Bay Greens Fee Sponsor and Dead Freddies Island Grill will be the Seaside Greens Fee Sponsor. Barrett Chevrolet, Inc. is the Hole-in-One Sponsor. Silberstein Insurance Group, LLC, is the Ball Sponsor.
