9:30 a.m., Ocean Pines Library. Bennett Scott, lifelong resident of Berlin, world champion carver and member of the Easter Waterfowl Festival Hall of Fames will be the featured speaker. He will talk about bird carving, including song birds and waterfowl.

To Annapolis

Depart 8 a.m. and return at 5 p.m. to the Ocean Pines Community Center. Spon-sored by the Worcester County Garden Club. Trip includes a docent tour of the Paca House, the home of the first governor of Maryland and a tour of the gardens. Walking tour of the town, sightseeing and lunch on your own. Cost: $40. Stegman to discuss aging and coping with it in the modern world. Dr. Stegman serves as a consultant for MAC, the area’s agency on aging and was the found of the 50+ Network of Creative Engagement. She received the Presi-dent’s Distinguished Community Lead-ership Award from Salisbury University.
