Students at OCE Learn About Alternative Energy Resources

Students at Ocean City Elementary School in Windy Phillips’ first grade class recently learned about alternate energy resources as part of STEM education. Representatives from Flexera, Adam Candeloro and Fin McCabe, shared solar panels and demonstrated how solar energy can power a simple fan. Students used compasses to find the best direction to place a solar panel. Pictured, from left, are Candeloro, Brian Flores, Matthew Janson, Tiernan Weinstein and McCabe. Submitted Photos
