OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department this week announced the 2011 Ocean City Baseball Camp will feature instructors from Ripken Baseball.
Since 2001, Cal Ripken, Jr. and his brother Bill Ripken have led Ripken Baseball in its mission to grow the game of baseball worldwide. This summer, Ripken Baseball is sending instructors to Ocean City to provide the best and most informative baseball camp experience available. Instructors will teach young players the “Ripken Way” and help them develop their baseball skills in an exciting and fun environment.
Each participant will receive a camp T-shirt, a baseball, a 4×6 color photo with their coach, a certificate of completion and other giveaways. Campers should bring a non-perishable lunch for the first two days and a pizza party will be held on the last day.
Camp dates are June 22-24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost for Ocean City residents is $124 and $140 for non-residents. For more information contact Al “Hondo” Handy at (410) 250-0125, or email [email protected].
