OC Job Fair Returns March 12

OCEAN CITY — The Greater Ocean City Chamber of Commerce in partnership with The Town of Ocean City, Comcast Spotlight and Md. Workforce Development will present the 26th Annual Ocean City Job Fair on Saturday, March 12 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the convention center.

Nearly 100 employers will be present to hire for many of the nearly 12,000 positions that are available in Ocean City each year in addition to jobs available through year-round businesses in the area and the surrounding area as well.

Employment types vary from part-time to full-time, seasonal to year round and any job type you can imagine. There are positions for wait staff, hotel/motel, housekeeping, beach patrol, sales, maintenance, security, customer service, food service and much more. Last year over 4,000 job seekers were in attendance.

There will be complimentary workshops provided by Quality Staffing Services on how to prepare a proper resume’ and proper interview etiquette.

If you plan on attending as a job seeker, coming prepared is a great advantage. Bring a pen, have identification, dress properly and have copies of a generic job applications already completed. Laser Tone will be on hand again this year for your convenience to provide additional copies of your resume’, applications, proof of I.D. etc.

Booth space is open to Chamber members for $150 and to non-member businesses are $250. This includes a 10 x 10 space w/ covered table, two chairs, a sign with your business name and pipe and drape and complimentary eblast to utilize at any time that you wish during the year.

This year we have opened the booth space up to businesses that may have a service that would be of interest to the job seekers who are in attendance.
