Mathias Speaks At OCES

Senator-elect Jim Mathias visited Ocean City Elementary School classrooms, spoke to Dr. Melanie Biscoe’s fourth grade class about Maryland’s government, and gave Principal Irene Kordick a Maryland flag. Kidz On The Block Program Visits OCES

Victor Vick, Michelle Hernandez, Calvin Brandenberg, Omar Omar, Shiran Lazarovich and Matthew Golden pose with the puppets from the Kids on the Block program from Talbot County’s Mental Health Association.  The puppets and handlers came to Ocean City Elementary School to teach an interactive lesson on dealing with bullying.

Flat Stanley At OCES

Students in Monica Piern’s second grade students at Ocean City Elementary School are learning about geography with their favorite book character “Flat Stanley”. Students mailed their Flat Stanley to relatives and friends all over the United States. With their “Flat Stanley” are Anthony Rozaieski, Jacelyn Clapsadle and Elizabeth Coates.
