Little Bo Peep At MBS

Alexis … and Julia … choose the Nursery Rhyme of Little Bo Peep for Ms. McLaughlin’s pre-kindergarten class at Most Blessed Sacrament.  The girls recited the classic rhyme about a girl on a quest for her missing sheep.

Poetry Out Loud At SDHS

Students performed in the annual Stephen Decatur High School Poetry Out Loud competition recently during American Education Week, Above, junior Jackie Saldana took first in the event, reciting two poems entitled “Insomnia” by Dante Gabriel Rossetti and “Love of My Flesh, Living Death” by Lorna Dee Cervantes. Saldana will now move on to the county competition.

BIS Raises $160 In Pennies

Fourth graders at Berlin Intermediate School raised over $160 through a penny drive to donate to the Maryland Coastal Bays.
