Principal Louis Taylor announced last week that for the second year in a row Stephen Decatur High School has received the Bayside South Conference Sportsmanship Award. For more than a decade, the award has been presented to a conference school that has accumulated the highest ranking in climate, spectators, coaching and supervision. For each varsity sport throughout the year, Bayside South Conference schools submit evaluations ranking their opponents. At the conclusion of the school year, a Bayside Conference
committee compiles the results for each separate sport and then generates a grade for each school. Presenting the award was Bayside South President Allen Miller, left. On hand to accept the award were seniors James Rossi, Troy Bennett, Andrew Murrell, Virginia Harris, Taylor Blazer, Athletic Director Don Howard and Taylor.
