OC Elementary Students Learn About Different Jobs on the Shore

As part of the Social Studies unit on the local economy and the ecology of the region, Ocean City Elementary students were taught about the different jobs on the shore related to the bay and how the things they do affect the environment. Students had the opportunity to dress up as the jobs they were learning about.  Above are Veronica Reinoso, the crabber; Ay’Bree Oliver, the oyster shucker; Brice Messick, the fisherman; and Wyatt Davy, the Skipjack Captain.
