It’s ERA Holida Real Estate Today

BERLIN – Local real estate firm Holiday Real Estate, Inc
has announced its recent affiliation with global residential real estate leader
ERA Franchise Systems, Inc.

Effective April 1, the company will begin conducting business
as ERA Holiday Real Estate and will continue to serve consumers in the Ocean
City, West Ocean City and Berlin areas.

Dental Associates Addition

OCEAN CITY – Dr. Sandra Garbely, DMD has joined Fenwick

community more than 17 years of experience in family and cosmetic dentistry.

Garbely earned her Doctor of Medical Dentistry Degree from

treating the underserved of Maryland’s Eastern Shore. In 1998, Garbely was

Advisor Walking For Cause

BERLIN – Merrill Lynch Senior Financial Advisor Christine
Selzer is walking for a cause later this month and is asking for the community’s
help.

Selzer is walking to save babies and help in the fight
against premature babies with other volunteers and officials of the March of
Dimes on Saturday, April 21 at Assateague State Park at 10 a.m.

New Store In Outlets

BERLIN – Ocean City Factory Outlets and the Cordish
Company announced the leasing of a 3,500-square-foot space to Christmas Pointe.
Specializing in Christmas, fine gifts, home décor, keepsakes and collectibles,
the store expects to be open for business this spring.

While the business name and location have changed over
their 30-year history, the Dondero family has consistently kept the traditions
of the Christmas season in the Ocean City area. From the “Drift-In Christmas
Shop” at 8th Street and the Boardwalk, to the “Yule Log Christmas Shop” at the
45th St. Village, to their sister shop ”Holiday Harbor” at Shantytown, to the
“Christmas Pointe” also at the 45th Street Village, Chuck and Linda Dondero
have continued to honor and keep the Christmas spirit all through the year.

Condos Sell At Auction

OCEAN CITY – Two luxury condominiums atop the Mayfair
Beach Condominiums in Ocean City sold for $1.05 million last Saturday, with
J.P. King Auction Company managing the sale.

"Everybody keeps saying you can’t sell condominiums
in the current, overcrowded market, but we got the job done today," said
Craig King, president of J.P. King.

Both were three-bedroom units with high-end kitchens,
granite fireplaces, built-in entertainment centers and balconies overlooking
the ocean.

"These had a perfect location, only 150 yards from
the beaches and just a few minutes from the Boardwalk," he said.

Purchasing one unit was Jeffrey Debois, of Ocean Springs,
Md., who paid $538,000. The second unit went for $512,000 to Nancy Reither of
Ocean City.

Seacoast Expands

BERLIN – Seacoast Realty, a Carl M. Freeman Company, has
announced it’s expanding the rental and general brokerage operations to new
headquarters at the Marketplace at Sea Colony in Bethany Beach on May 22. The
site is the former office of ResortQuest Real Estate.

“This represents a homecoming for the Carl M. Freeman
Companies, the owner of Seacoast Realty, and the original developer of Sea
Colony,” said Seacoast President Brigit Taylor.

In addition to the new Marketplace office, Seacoast will
retain its existing offices at Hickman Plaza West on Route 1 and the Sea Colony

Centex Opens New Office

CBRB Pre-Licensing Class

Real Estate has announced its first Ocean City pre-licensing class scheduled
for April 16-June 6, from 6-10 p.m.
