BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s girls’ varsity basketball team cruised past Pocomoke, 58-31, on Tuesday on the road, completing a three-game sweep of their Worcester County rivals for the season.
The Seahawks cruised to the 58-31 win on Tuesday, continuing a trend against the Warriors this year. Decatur beat Pocomoke, 52-34, back on December 20 and beat the Warriors again, 55-45, during the Coleman Christmas Tournament on December 28.
The Seahawks’ record now stands at 13-2 on the season, their only losses coming to Mardela in the third game of the year and Parkside on January 11. Decatur avenged the loss to Mardela with a 58-47 win on January 17. They will get a shot to gain revenge on Parkside with a rematch set for February 14.
