BERLIN- After starting the season with a 7-0 record, Worcester Prep’s girls’ varsity basketball team dropped its first contest of the year last week, falling to visiting Delmarva Christian, 32-36.
The Mallards ran the table during November and December with a 7-0 mark, but may have suffered from the nearly three-week layoff during the holiday break. The Worcester girls fell to Delmarva Christian, 36-32, in a tight game last Friday. Sophie Brennan led the Mallards with eight points.
