BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s girls’ varsity basketball team got the second half of its season off to a great start this week, sweeping three games culminating with a 69-25 win over Snow Hill on Tuesday.
In its first game back from the holiday break last Thursday, Decatur trounced Crisfield, 53-24, as Dayina Godwin scored 10 points and Monique Wise grabbed 13 rebounds. On Monday, the Seahawks picked up where they left off, beating Washington, 58-48. Abby Schorr led the Seahawks with a remarkable 31 points and also grabbed 17 rebounds. On Tuesday, the Decatur girls took down Snow Hill, 69-25, as Schorr, Wise and Godwin each scored 12 points. Schorr also grabbed nine rebounds in the win over Snow Hill.
