OCEAN CITY- With another NFL season getting ready to kick off next week, local Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers fans are already counting the days to the first matchup between the heated rivals, and this year a new wrinkle will add fuel to the fire.
Produced by OC Tri Running and sponsored by the 28th Street Pit and Pub and Buxy’s Salty Dog Saloon, the first annual Ravens-Steelers 5K and Beach Combine Challenge is slated for Saturday, November 17 in advance of the first meeting between the two teams. The event begins with a 5K race on the Boardwalk with a trophy to be presented to the winning team, followed by the Beach Combine, featuring several football-related tests and drills. The winner will earn bragging rights for the entire year.
