BERLIN- The Worcester County chapter of Women Supporting Women held its annual golf tournament fundraiser last weekend with the team from Wainwright’s sweeping most of the major awards.
Ed and Margaret Colbert hosted the annual golf tournament and fundraiser for Women Supporting Women last Saturday at their Deer Run golf course in Berlin. Team Wainwright’s, made up of sponsor Kenny Taylor, Cat Passeri, Ross Bergey, Wanda Dero and Jill Kohut, won the captain’s scramble format and took several individual honors. Passeri won the closest-to-the-pin and Bergey won longest drive, a 330-yarder.
