Third grade students in Worcester County have been studying Worcester County in Social Studies. As part of the unit, they read about and discuss each town and learn about its history. Students from Ocean City Elementary School took a trip to Furnace Town to experience some of the skills residents of earlier times needed to survive. The kindergarten classes at Snow Hill Elementary School, under the direction of music teacher Julie Hickman, presented "Get Hoppin," a musical story about the “Bunny Family” and their baby Bunny Sue who didn't like to hop. The students performed six musical selections along with performing skits during the show.
