Lillian Mary Jones Pennington
Lillian Mary Jones PenningtonQUARRYVILLE, Pa. -- Lillian Mary Jones Pennington of Quarryville, Pa. and formerly of Brookhaven, Pa. died on May 22, 2011 at Hospice of Lancaster County.
She was the wife of the late Raymond Phillip Pennington with whom she was married 46 years.Born in Chester, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Robert Allen and Sephorah Jones.
She graduated from Chester High School, where she studied business.
She was employed at Sun Ship Building & Dry Dock Co. as manager of material control.
Lillian is survived by her daughter, Priscilla Pennington (husband Ronald) Zytkowicz of Ocean City; son, Raymond Phillip “Phil” (wife Marie) Pennington, Jr. of Exton, Pa.; and grandchildren, Sara Elizabeth Wilson, Nichole Marie Pennington and Samantha Rose Pennington.
She enjoyed political “debates” with her Quarryville Friends, reading the newspaper and drinking her coffee.
Life Celebration services will be held on Friday, May 27 at 1 p.m. with a visitation from 12:30-1 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 400 Lancaster Ave., Malvern, Pa. with Reverend Patricia Stoltzfus officiating.
Interment at Edgewood Memorial Park.
