Worcester Preparatory School Headmaster Dr. Barry W. Tull, center, congratulates Allie Pedigo, Lewes, and Ross Roessler for being honored as National Merit Commended Scholars. The two join fellow senior Dominique Kunciw in receiving commendation from the College Board. Pedigo, Roessler, and Kunciw were among the top scorers in the nation on the PSAT-NMSQT test, which junior level students take to qualify for National Merit competition.

Mrs. Romano's 5th grade class at Berlin Intermediate School recently read about floods and how dams are used to control the flow of water in their Nature's Fury reading unit. They also read about how beavers build dams. Above, Jawad Mejber, Frank Giampa, Sean Pletcher and Torrey Brittingham built their own "edible dams" and compared their dams to that of the beavers.
