Kindergarten students were amazed by the creatures that live on Assateague Island during KinderKritters, a program conducted by Park Rangers Liz and Chris. Programs were presented to Ocean City Elementary's pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students. Before the visit from the rangers, early childhood students at OCES collected "Cents for the Seashore" donations, and presented a check in appreciation for the wonderful experiences the park provides the community. Math classes throughout Worcester Preparatory School and the world celebrated Pi Day on March 14. Pi is the symbol for the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. Here McKenna Shanahan, Grade 6, participates in a Pi Day competition to see which student can recall the most Pi numbers.
