OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department’s 25th Annual St. Patrick’s Soccer Tournament concluded last weekend after hosting over 150 teams from all over the mid-Atlantic region for the last month with champions crowned in the signature men’s and women’s open divisions. The Stephen Decatur High School Kids Against Animal Abuse & Testing (KAAAT) club in connection with the After School Academy held a pet food drive that yielded over 400 pounds of pet food. Stephen Decatur High School juniors Ciara Wright, Charlotte Petsche, Emily Ladd and Ashley DePaul team up to consume four pizzas during the 3rd Annual "Pi" Eating Contest sponsored by the Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society. Stephen Decatur High School presented $3,224.77 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society after a month filled with activities organized by the Acts of Kindness club. The donation marked the largest to the charity of any high school in the state.
