The Lower Shore Chapter of the American Red Cross conducted last week a regional Day of Training for two of the area’s Jr. Red Cross Clubs. Approximately 80 young adults from Worcester Prep and Stephen Decatur High School took part in a full day of CPR/AED and First Aid certification training. The day of instruction was sponsored by the Princess Royale Hotel, which donated two conference rooms, beverages and classroom set-up and supplies.

Worcester Preparatory School senior Meredith Soule´ has been named a National Merit Scholarship Finalist. Soule´, also an Advanced Placement Scholar, has been inducted into the prestigious Cum Laude Society, is a member of the National Honor Society and the French National Honor Society and has achieved academic honors in many of her courses.
