OCEAN CITY -- Ocean City Police are investigating a fatal fall yesterday morning from a balcony at a north-end high rise condominium.

Around 9 a.m. on Thursday, Ocean City Police responded to a reported fatal fall from a balcony at the Golden Sands Condominium around the 110th Street area.

OCPD spokesman Mike Levy said on Thursday morning a male individual was discovered deceased and detectives are currently handling the case as a fatal balcony fall although no foul play is suspected.

The individual’s identity has not been released pending the notification of the next of kin. The remains will be sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner on Baltimore for an autopsy.
