BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s varsity wrestling team remained unbeaten last week after sweeping a pair of meets from two Bayside North foes including Queen Anne’s, which had also not lost. The Seahawks took on Queen Anne’s in a battle of unbeaten Bayside teams last Wednesday and held on for a 37-24 win after building a big early lead. BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s boys’ varsity basketball team fell to county rival Pocomoke, 55-50, on Tuesday to fall back to a .550 record on the season. Throughout the season, the Seahawks have been nothing short of streaky, rarely winning two in a row, nor losing two straight games. Decatur Boys Win Bayside Championship

SNOW HILL- Stephen Decatur’s boys’ varsity indoor track team last week captured the Bayside Conference championship, while the girls’ varsity team finished a close second. The Seahawk boys claimed the conference championship with 170 total team points including a handful of individual titles. WEST OCEAN CITY- Young wrestlers from the Eastern Shore Intensive Wrestling Club, based in West Ocean City, turned in strong performances at a Maryland State Wrestling Association qualifying event at Mount St. Joseph High School last weekend, collecting a handful of championships and placing in several other categories. BERLIN- Registration for the Coastal Lacrosse Club’s 2013 outdoor season is underway and teams are filling up quickly. Registration for the 2013 season may be done online through PayPal or the forms can be downloaded and mailed. BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s girls’ varsity basketball team cruised past Pocomoke, 58-31, on Tuesday on the road, completing a three-game sweep of their Worcester County rivals for the season. The Seahawks cruised to the 58-31 win on Tuesday, continuing a trend against the Warriors this year.
