OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department’s boys winter basketball league continued last week with a full slate of games at Northside Park. The following are some of the highlights from recent games:
(bullet) Park Place Jewelers 34- Fresco’s 32: Colton Edmunds led Park Place with 16 points. Brett Berquist scored 14 for Fresco’s, while Tyree Henry added 10.
(bullet) Fishers Popcorn 25- OC Rec Boosters 20: Alex Gaddis led Fishers with nine points, while Hayden Cosman scored 12 for the Boosters in the loss.
(bullet) Flamingo Hotel 16- American Legion 14: Lucas Weber led the Flamingo Hotel with 12 of his team’s 16 points. Andrew Weir scored eight points and Reece Stone added four.
(bullet) Fager’s Island 35- Applebee’s 15: Sam Tinkler scored 11 points and Liam Howard added eight for Fager’s in the win. Ryan Stone scored five points and Dante Clubb added four for Applebee’s.
(bullet) OC-Berlin Optimists 40- OC Rec Boosters 26: Kodie Johnson scored a game-high 14 points to lead the Optimists, while Vinnie Catrino added 11. Sonny Furst scored nine and Avery McCormick pitched in seven for the Boosters in the loss.
(bullet) Trimper’s 38- Rox Weddings 19: George Martin led Trimper’s with 15 points, while Tate Shockley scored nine, Zach Ciccio scored six and Adam Pizza added three. Matt Kinsey led Rox with 14 points, while Owen Nally pitched in four.
(bullet) Bayside Skillet 27- McDonalds 8: Willem Lambertson led Bayside Skillet with a game-high 17 points. Brennen Gurskey scored six and Jacob Osias and Gabriel Elarari each scored two points.
(bullet) Elks Lodge 18- Sea Colony 10: Owen Tanis and Mitchell McGee each scored six points to lead the Elks. Dawson Delaney scored four points and Cole Berry got on the board with two points. Chad Fisher led the Sea Colony with three points.
