Digital Program Expanded
BERLIN -- Long & Foster® Real Estate, Inc., the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, has expanded its digital marketing efforts through Your.Home, unique websites that are devoted to individual property listings designed to increase the Internet visibility of the thousands of listings Long & Foster sales associates represent each year, and that offer consumers a direct and simple way to view information about listings.
The websites are created automatically for each listing and for no charge to Long & Foster sales associates or their clients.
The unique Your.Home URLs created for each of Long & Foster’s property listings are based on each property’s unique street address, ensuring increased search engine optimization performance that will help to drive potential buyer traffic directly to the property’s website.
“Over 60 million property searches are conducted on Long & Foster’s website each year. Your.Home takes the company’s digital marketing to a whole new level by giving today’s Internet-savvy consumers an easy way to access property information and to shop for homes,” said Michael Koval, chief information officer for The Long & Foster Companies. “The Your.Home websites, combined with our other digital marketing initiatives, are exclusive to Long & Foster and boost exposure of the company’s listings via the Internet to millions of potential home buying consumers around the globe.”
SALISBURY -- Peninsula Regional Medical Center (PRMC) in Salisbury has again been granted accreditation by American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) for transfusion activities and services. Peninsula Regional has been continuously accredited by the AABB since 1960.
Accreditation follows an intensive on-site assessment by specially trained AABB assessors and establishes the level of technical and administrative performance within PRMC meets or exceeds the standards set by the organization. By successfully meeting those requirements, Peninsula Regional joins similar facilities across the United States and abroad that have also earned AABB accreditation.
“We have continued to seek AABB accreditation for the past five decades because this program assists us by promoting a level of professional and technical expertise that contributes to quality performance and patient safety," said Michael Wagner, MD, Medical Director of Transfusion Services at PRMC. “We are pleased to have had zero non-conformances identified during the most recent bi-annual inspection. This really is a tribute to the hard work done by Pamela Channell, our transfusion services supervisor, and the entire blood bank staff.”
Thus far in 2012, Peninsula Regional transfused 8,105 units of blood products to 4,216 patients. PRMC’s success in the reaccreditation process was a team effort, as the laboratory, blood bank, physicians, nursing personnel and others were all key contributors.
