OCEAN CITY- Before Hurricane Sandy started arriving in the resort area last weekend, the 20th Annual Seaside 10 and associated 5K were held in Ocean City with hundreds of runners participating.
Over 500 runners competed in the annual events last Saturday with 260 in the 10-mile race and another 284 in the 5K race. BERLIN- Several of Stephen Decatur’s fall sports teams’ forays into the state playoffs were put on hold this week by Hurricane Sandy, which caused cancellations of games throughout the Eastern Shore and across the state.
