BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s boys’ varsity soccer team stayed on a roll this week, thrashing visiting Mardela, 8-2, on Monday for their third straight win.
After dropping a pair of games to Queen Anne’s and Easton two weeks ago, the Seahawks have gone on a mid-season mini-roll with three straight wins. The run started with a 4-1 win over Wicomico at home and a 3-1 win over Worcester County rival Pocomoke on the road last Wednesday. On Monday, the Seahawks cruised past visiting Mardela, 8-2, with the offense firing on all cylinders. After a couple of home games against Somerset County foes Crisfield and Washington, the Seahawks will close out the regular season with three straight tough road games against Snow Hill, Parkside and Bennett.
