BERLIN- Decatur’s varsity volleyball team continued its up-and-down season this week with a pair of big wins against Worcester County rivals Snow Hill and Pocomoke.
The Seahawks have been all over the map thus far this season with a win in the opener, followed by a loss, followed by two more wins, two more losses and now two straight wins over Snow Hill last week and Pocomoke on Monday.
The Seahawks beat Snow Hill, 25-21, 25-19 and 25-23 last Thursday. Casey Ortiz led Decatur with 11 assists and five kills, while Alexis Martinek had 12 digs, Bianca Alvardo had seven kills, Taylor Black had five kills and Ashley Trice had seven assists.
