2012 WMO Up To The Minute

OCEAN CITY- Through the first three days, the 39th Annual White Marlin Open this week, much of the talk surrounding the tournament has been more about what has not yet happened then what has happened thus far. Heels and Reels a Big Success

OCEAN CITY- Before the big boys took the seas off the coast for the 39th Annual White Marlin Open this week, the lady anglers around the resort area last weekend had their own event, the Ocean City Marlin Club’s 4th Annual Heels and Reels Tournament. For each of the last four years, the Marlin Club has hosted an annual tournament featuring the top lady anglers and boats in the Ocean City area. OCEAN CITY- The Chauncey’s Surfabout last Sunday was a huge success with good waves and dozens of winners in several categories. For the record, Sam Deeley took first in the open short board division, followed by Travis Knight and Brad Flora. In the boys’ short board division, Simon Hetrick finished first, while Sonny Furst came in second and Logan Harvey was third. BERLIN- Berlin’s Colton Edmunds turned in a great performance at the North American Final for the Hershey’s Track and Field Games last weekend, finishing first among competitors from all over the country in the standing long jump for boys 11-12.
