WCOP Presents $1,500 To Community Organizations And $2,500 In College Scholarships

The Women’s Club of Ocean Pines (WCOP) presented $1,500 to community organizations and $2,500 in college scholarships at the end of their 2011-2012 membership year.  Monies were presented to CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocate), Ocean Pines Recreations and Parks Department, Ocean Pines Fire/EMT Department, Ocean Pines Police Department, Worcester County Veterans Memorial and the McGuffey Literacy Program. Scholarships were awarded to Ruth Chilengi, Kirsten Pokrywka, and Arielle Toulotte from Stephen Decatur High School.
