Stephen Decatur Middle School hosted a Lower Shore History Day competition, a qualifying round for Maryland History Day to be held at University of Maryland Baltimore County on April 24. Winners at the Maryland History Day competition move on to National History Day at University of Maryland College Park in June. The theme of this year's competition was 'Innovation in History: Impact and Change.'
