Fatal Scooter Crash In Pines

OCEAN PINES -- Ocean Pines Police are investigating a single vehicle scooter accident that occurred Wednesday evening at Ocean Parkway and Breezeway Lane.  

The victim has been identified as David Allan Biggs, 50, of Brooklyn Park, Md.

Police are still investigating the circumstances of the accident, but initial investigation revealed that the scooter operated by Biggs left the roadway and collided with a tree in the center median of the roadway.  He was not wearing a helmet.

Ocean Pines police are being assisted in their investigation by the Worcester County Sheriff’s Department.
