Towson to Host Beach Lax Clinic
OCEAN CITY- The Towson University women's lacrosse team will host its first-ever Lax on the Beach lacrosse clinic on the beach at 9th Street on Saturday, September 26.
The clinic, hosted by the Towson Tiger's women's lacrosse program is open to players of all ages and will feature coaching and instruction from the 2008 and 2009 NCAA Division I Colonial Athletic Conference champions. The Tigers are utilizing the clinic as part of a fundraising effort for a planned trip to Australia.
The clinic begins with registration at 10 a.m. followed by the action on the beach from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. During the event, there will be plenty of fun competitions and great prizes. The cost is $40 per player, or $30 for early registration by September 20, or for groups of five or more. Space is limited, so early registration in suggested.
