OCEAN CITY- The 8th Annual Sammy Wilkinson Memorial Golf Tournament, an annual fundraiser held in honor of a young Ocean City boy who tragically died after falling through the ice at Northside Park in 2003, got underway today at the Newport Bay course of the Ocean City Golf Club in South Point. 8th Kid’s Classic a Huge Success

OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Marlin Club’s 8th Annual Kid’s Classic last weekend was a huge success with 334 junior anglers participating and over $4,200 raised for the Wish-A-Fish Foundation. The annual event, open to all young anglers age 19 or younger, took place last weekend in the waters in and around the resort from the back bays to the ocean. Berlin All Stars Repeat as State Champs

BERLIN- The Berlin Little League 10-11 All Start completed their dream season last weekend, beating Brunswick, 8-2, to accomplish the rare feat of repeating as state champions. The Berlin 10-11 team went undefeated throughout the post-season, capturing both the District 8 championship and the Maryland State Championship, which culminated with an 8-2 win over Brunswick in the title game.
