BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s girls’ varsity lacrosse team suffered a tough loss this week, falling to rival Parkside, 15-13, in overtime on Tuesday after leading much of the way.
The Seahawks had won five in a row before falling to the Rams in overtime on Tuesday. With the loss, Decatur’s record dropped to 8-4 on the season, while Parkside improved to 10-1. Before Tuesday’s loss to Parkside, the Seahawks beat Bennett, 18-2. Ashley Trice led the scoring barrage with five goals, while Erin Florek scored four and Layla Fowler added three.
