OCEAN CITY- Ocean City’s first-ever Strongman competition last weekend was a big success with 22 athletes from five different states competing in the 100-plus degree heat at Gold’s Gym.

OCEAN PINES- The 2012 OPA Freedom 5K last week was a huge success with nearly 300 runners braving 100-degree temperatures for the early morning Fourth of July race around the South Gate pond in Ocean Pines.

OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department next week is hosting a lacrosse camp for girls ages 6-16 at Northside Park as part of its ongoing summer camp program.
