Arbor Day is celebrated each year with second graders from Ocean City Elementary School at Northside Park. Each class does a skit mostly about trees. At the end of the program they plant a tree in the park. Ocean City Elks provide Elroy the Elk for the children's entertainment and Drug Awareness Bags.
