Dominique Kunciw, a
senior at Worcester Prep, has been notified that she is one of the 2009
National Merit® Scholarship semifinalists. To be considered for a National
Merit Scholarship, students must score at top levels on the Preliminary
Scholastic Aptitude Test/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test and then
fulfill requirements to qualify for Finalist status. Approximately 90% of those
named Semifinalists go on to the Finalist level. Becoming a National Merit
Semifinalist and then Finalist is one of the highest honors a student can
achieve. Kunciw is pictured above with Headmaster Dr. Barry W. Tull.
