Seahawks’ Win Streak Hits Five Games
BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s girls’ varsity basketball team extended its win streak to five games this week after routing St. Michael’s, 61-21, on the road on Tuesday.
Erin Florick scored 13 points and Abby Schorr added 12 in the rout of the Saints on Tuesday as the Seahawks won their fifth straight. Last Thursday, the Decatur girls edged county rival Snow Hill, 59-57, as Schorr scored 25 points and Monique Wise grabbed 17 rebounds.
With the pair of wins, the Seahawks improve to 11-10 on the season. The current five-game streak includes wins over Pocomoke, Crisfield, Washington, Snow Hill and St. Michaels. The Decatur girls wrapped up the regular season last night with a road game against Parkside.
