BERLIN- Something had to give when Decatur’s girls’ varsity lacrosse team hosted Bayside South rival Parkside on a dreary Wednesday afternoon this week, and it was the Rams that fired the last salvo in a dramatic 14-13 win. BERLIN- Worcester Prep’s girls’ varsity lacrosse team lost a heartbreaker to rival Saints Peter and Paul at home on Tuesday, falling to the Sabres, 12-11, in overtime after giving up a tying goal with seven seconds left at the end of regulation. SNOW HILL- The late Allen Miller, long-time Snow Hill High School teacher and coach who passed away unexpectedly last fall, will be honored with a first-ever memorial golf tournament in his name next month. BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s varsity baseball team let one slip away this week, falling to Colonel Richardson, 14-9, after self-destructing in the late innings. The Seahawks got off to a good start offensively, scoring in each of the first three innings to build a 5-4 lead.
