Students in grades preschool through five at Worcester Prep entertained their grandparents during Grandparents' Day 2009. Ocean City Elementary announced the grade level winners of the Zaner-Bloser Handwriting Contest. The students' entries have been sent to the Zaner-Bloser Company to be judged at the state level. Ocean City Elementary School celebrated the 100th day of school in February. Students made individual collections of 100 items and classes also did projects to illustrate 100.
