October 10, 2008 - Sports
BERLIN- The Berlin Junior Dolphins of the Salvation Army League won their third straight game last weekend, topping county rival Pocomoke, 14-6, to improve to 3-1 on the season. Pocomoke came into the game undefeated and Berlin had just one loss, so something had to give last weekend as the two familiar rivals faced off. Mallards Suffer First Loss

October 10, 2008 - Sports
BERLIN- Worcester Prep's men's varsity soccer team took its first loss of the season this week, falling to visiting Delmar, 4-2, on Monday in a hard fought, physical contest. The Mallards entered the game with a near-perfect record at 7-0-1, the only blemish on their otherwise perfect schedule a 1-1 tie with Sussex Tech way back in the second game of the season. BERLIN- An otherwise perfect Homecoming for the Stephen Decatur varsity football team last Friday was spoiled somewhat by a fourth-quarter comeback by visiting Queen Anne's, who scored 19 unanswered fourth quarter points to steal the 33-21 win. The two Bayside heavyweights slugged it out for three-plus quarters before the Lions capitalized on a handful of huge plays down the stretch to pull the come-from-behind win. Decatur scored first on a five-yard touchdown pass from Tim Donnelly to Andrew...READ MORE
