To celebrate their American Stories theme in reading, fourth grade students at Berlin Intermediate School took part in a traditional hoe down complete with boots and cowboy hats. Students read a story about the origin of the Stetson hat called "Boss of the Plains" and were encouraged to wear their own cowboy hats.
