Benito Riva was a musician featured nightly at Mario’s, an Italian – American restaurant.

Ice Internationale presents Stars on Ice and was raved to be an ‘all-star spectacular!’

The Paul Reveres Restaurant located in the Plim Plaza Hotel offered the smorgasbord all you can eat for only $4.95

Every Labor Day a mass exodus took place at Ocean City as vacationers pour back into the city.  After the Labor Day holiday parking meters were removed and city officials would turn off about three of the town’s traffic lights.

Due to the quaint size of Ocean City, there were no municipally operated fire companies and the responsibility for fighting fires was left up to the citizens themselves.

Dancing at the nightclub was said to be a tradition that could be found at the Wishing Well of 17th Street. The music was supplied by a well-known local band referred to as the ‘Buddy Norman Trio’.
