Worcester Tennis Teams Remain Unbeaten

BERLIN- Worcester Prep’s varsity tennis teams continued their winning ways last week, sweeping Gunston on the road.

The Worcester girls beat the Herons, 6-1. Winning singles matches for the Mallards were Isabel Carulli, Eric Smith, Anchita Batra and Maya Nateson. Eva Parks and Stormy McGuinness won their doubles match, as did Jamie Gittleman and Lauren Gosnear.

The boys’ varsity team turned in a similar result against Gunston with a 6-1 victory. Leading the way for the Mallards in singles matches were Zac Wilson, Will Todd, Adam Pizza and Graham Holland. Picking up doubles wins for Worcester were Charlie Pritchard and Colin Miller, along with Brendan Miller and Owen Nally. Both the boys’ and girls’ teams remain unbeaten at 5-0.
