OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department’s Adult Indoor Soccer League continued this week with a full slate of games at Northside Park.
In the Unlimited Division, the River Soccer club is unbeaten at 5-0 and sits atop the standings. Brazil is in close second with a 4-1-1 record, while Kirby’s Pub is in third with a 4-2 mark. In the Over 30 Division, DiCarlo Printing is first with a perfect 3-0 mark, while Claddagh on the Shore is second with a 2-1 records. The following is a quick look at some of last week’s action:
• Kirby’s Pub 9- The Cure 5: Larry Cornish led the way with three goals, while Shaun Bounds added two for Kirby’s. Nick Izzo scored two goals for The Cure in the loss.
• River Soccer Club 6- Sunsations 3: Peter Mais led the unbeaten River Soccer Club with two goals.
• DiCarlo Printing 10- The Misfits 2: Colby Bounds and Kenny Kuine each scored two goals to lead the unbeaten DiCarlo Printing.
• Claddagh on the Shore 5- Atlantic Dental 2: Steve Isett led the Claddagh with two goals, while Logan Hall scored two goals for Atlantic Dental.
• Kirby’s Pub 15- Club Xela 5: Tanner East went off for five goals, while Shaun Bounds added four and Larry Cornish pitched in two. Gustavo Perez led Club Xela with two goals.
• Brazil 6- Sunsations 4: Tito Vasquez scored three goals to lead Brazil. Tomas Medina also scored a hat trick for Sunsations in the loss.
• River Soccer Club 11- The Cure 1: Daniel Garza scored three goals, while Justin Ward, Luis Cruz and Pat Hughes each scored two for River. Nick Izzo scored The Cure’s loan goal.
