SoDel Concepts, a Rehoboth Beach, Del.-based hospitality company with eight coastal restaurants, recently gave 16, $500 grants to summer employees who are also teachers. “We know that many public school teachers spend their own money on classroom supplies and programs,” said Scott Kammerer, president and CEO of SoDel Concepts. “We want to give the teachers who work for us extra support.” Above, Lindsey Barry, controller for SoDel Concepts, and Michael Dickinson, SoDel Concepts’ director of operations, presents grants to Krissy Patton, a teacher at Milton Elementary School, Lauren Robertson, a teacher Richard Shields Elementary School in Lewes, and Brittany Bailey, a teacher Milton Elementary School.
