Decatur Runners Solid In State Regional Meet

BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s varsity cross-country teams turned in solid performances in the state 3A-East region meet last week with several runners placing in the top 100.

The Decatur boys finished 10^th overall. Finishing in the top 100 were Cameron James (47^th), Javier Hernandez (50^th), Jack Reimer (58^th), Jared Massey (62^nd), Chance Coley (63^rd), Matt Alvarado (72^nd), and Ethan Jansen (74^th).

The Decatur girls finished 9^th overall as a team and placed several runners in the top 100. Among the top finishers for the Seahawk girls were Alison Alvarado (44^th), Peyton Dunham (50^th), Kailey Andrews (53^rd), Nellie Dehart (60^th), Isabella Bartholomew (65^th) and Maya Knepp (67^th).
