Worcester Prep Girls Run Win Streak To Four

BERLIN- Worcester Prep’s girls’ varsity lacrosse team ran its current win streak to four games last week with a dominating 16-1 win over ESIAC rival Salisbury School.

The Mallards started the season with four straight wins before falling to host Howard in the championship game of the Karl Wolf Tournament. Since then, the Mallards have now won four more in a row including victories over Saints Peter and Paul, Tower Hill, Bennett and Salisbury School. Worcester is now 8-1 on the season with two four-game winning streaks sandwiched around their only loss to Howard.

The Mallards get a rematch with Saints Peter and Paul at home this afternoon, followed by a road game at Cape Henlopen next Wednesday. After that, the Worcester girls will finish with a pair of home games against Salisbury School and Stephen Decatur before wrapping up the regular season on the road against Sussex Tech.
