Elizabeth was born in California to Ima Gene Evie and Sterling Ingrem. Elizabeth has four lovely sisters and three wonderful brothers whom she loved dearly. Her father, Sterling, was a Master Sergeant in the Air Force and eventually relocated the family to New Hampshire.

Elizabeth had lots of friends growing up and was a good student in school. Elizabeth married Mr. Wilber White who was in the Coast Guard and they found themselves moving to Salisbury near his family.

In 2009, Elizabeth decided to make her home in Ocean City. She loved living near the sea but was not interested in getting in it. She developed many close friends and was loved in her community. Many enjoyed her handywork from her home business, “Sewing by the Sea.” Most of the family lives in New Hampshire except for her sister, Linda, and brother-in-law, Jimmy Carlton, who resident in Salisbury.

Her family is deeply grieving her passing, but Elizabeth was looking forward to someday meeting her savior, Jesus, face to face.

To my wonderful friend, Elizabeth, never have I seen such courage and determination in someone such as you.

You are not just another face in the crowd but my closest friend and a remarkable woman with warmth, depth and integrity, always wanting to do the right thing. It has been an honor to have known you and to have watched the Lord bless you because of that integrity. I am sure as you’ve traveled through life you have blessed others in their journey as you have blessed me. I’m a better human being for having known you.

Love, Your Pal, Michael. “Oh Elizabeth”
